Estephany was born in Lawrenceville, Georgia and raised by two hard working immigrants from Villa de Purificacion, Jalisco, Mexico. In 2010, she moved to central Texas with her family and will receive a BFA in Studio Art with a concentration in Photography from the University of North Texas. Her work explores the pride that comes with being a Mexican-American navigating the mainstream American culture.
